This is an OFFICIAL NATIONAL LEAGUE (Coleman) Baseball signed by 2x All Star, 1946 NL Strikeout leader and former Cubs, Dodgers, Yankees, Reds, Senators, Red Sox and Orioles pitcher JOHNNY SCHMITZ in blue pen. The signature rates a 9/10. The ball itself is lightly toned and spotted throughout. Please look at pictures for further detail. I am happy to send/post more pictures upon request, if needed. DID YOU KNOW? Schmitz made his major league debut with the Cubs on September 6, 1941, at the age of 20. He was the fourth-youngest player that year. In his debut, he threw only one pitch. Schmitz died in 2011 at age 90.
